- 1.Chinese students who have travelled home during the Lunar New Year holiday and not yet returned to Thailand are advised to delay their return to Thailand by two weeks. Faculty members and those involved should contact those students for their reschedule and the current situation of deadly coronavirus. Accordingly, the faculty are advised to set up classes for them after returning to university.
- 2.For Chinese students who stay in Thailand and do not travel home country during the past two weeks, it is highly recommended that you avoid making contact with newly home returnees.
- 3.Students, scholars or MSU staff members who returned from China after January 27, 2020 or those who have travelled to the disease-ridden cities or at-risk areas, are advised to delay their return to university or stay at home for 14 days. You are also required to report your personal details, including telephone and address, to the faculty staff who will subsequently forward such data to the Coordinations Centre for the novel coronavirus precautions, Mahasarakham University. In addition, stranded people who have just returned from China need to be closely monitored.
- 4.MSU students and staff who have a fever or irregular respiratory symptoms are recommended to report themselves to the head of each divison. For any suspected cases of the novel coronavirus, contact the SRRT at Suddhavej Hospital, Mahasarakham Unviersity. Contacts can be made via calls at 09-8149-7828, 09-5662-2283, and 08-1262-5229 or to the Coordinations Centre for the novel coronavirus precautions at 09-6272-9962, 06-1945-6195, 09-9836-0807, 09-5185-2850, 09-1861-5280, 08-5754-2841. To prevent the coronavirus outbreak, you are suggested to stay away from crowded places, avoid close contact to people who sneeze and cough, wear a hygienic mask when in a crowded community, and often wash your hands thoroughly.
- 5.In case the students, university staff members or any divisions need to travel to the Republic of China, it is highly recommended that the trip be postponed. If being unable to avoid travelling, please be informed that crowded places should be avoided. You are also suggested not to contact with persons who have respiratory symptoms such as coughing and make sure that you wear a hygienic mask when in the community. In addition, avoid entering animal markets or at-risk places and regularly wash your hands.
